Hello, I am Ave Maria Green. Years ago, I was diagnosed with major depression. It told me “no” to joy, to connection, to dreams. My way forward was learning the miraculous power of saying “yes.”
That practice has changed everything. I moved to New York to be an actress. I started a successful company without even owning a computer. I tried stand-up comedy in LA. I hosted my own art show. Saying yes—again and again—helped me heal.
Through my words and art, I want to offer you hope. Hope that you are not alone. Hope that you are seen. Hope that joy, love, and a more colorful life are possible—even when you’re struggling to get out of bed.
Speaking
I began my first company by taking a free one-hour computer class at Kinko’s, then went on to create the first rubber wristbands with words on them, commonly known as the LIVESTRONG bracelet—and sold 10 million of them!
